The Sound of Motivation

The sound of motivation isn't always welcome... because it isn't always pretty.  It's the sound of your alarm blaring at 6:00AM.  It's the grunts, the lip smacks, and the snorts in the early morning as you swim out of sleep.  It's the sound of your bones creaking as you rise from bed.  You move slowly through the morning, but finally lace up your trainers and stand on the threshold of your front door looking out at the world.  You breathe in the fresh morning and turn on the music... and that's when everything changes.  You become an animal devouring the sidewalk below you.  Every step reminds you that there are no shortcuts and you smile to yourself knowing that you're okay with that.  This is not an 80's movie montage where you emerge chiseled and massive after 5-minutes worth of workout footage.  This is very, very real and you’re living every minute of it.  Day in and day out... these are the moments when results are made.  For many of us, this will be the only time in our day when we live in the moment.  We hear the hearts beating in our chest, we hear our breath, and we hear the music.  And that is where the beauty lies.
The sound of motivation isn't always pretty, but it's all around you... pushing you forward if you just listen...
So in that spirit, here's a playlist I put together to motivate you through your workout today!  I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed putting it together!
